This page is for compliance purposes and is for Amazon SES.
This page provides more information on my use-case for Amazon SES.
Domains
For the purposes of this document, I own the following domains. Each domain is associated with a use-case:
- my-network.services – For internally-accessible services and for sending email
- my-network.systems – For mapping DNS names to physical units (e.g. servers)
- my-external.services – For externally-accessible services only (i.e.
It is by design that a service will be reachable from both an internal (my-network.services) endpoint as well as an external (my-external.services) endpoint.
Emails
The emails that would be sent through Amazon SES will be transactional in nature (i.e. triggered when a user does something [e.g. reset a password or request the deletion of data]). They may also be triggered when something happens the user has asked to be notified about (e.g. reminders, errors logged, etc.).
No marketing email would be sent as this is not a commercial sender.
Emails would be sent from the “my-network.services” domain.
Bounces / Complaints
Bounces and complaints will be reviewed manually by the account administrator through the SES console.
Virtual Deliverability Manager has been enabled and will be utilised.
